The ordinance for taking back and recycling of used batteries and accumulators (Batterieverordnung – BattV from 27th of March 1998) is in force since 1st of October 1998.

Distributors and manufacturers of batteries are therefore obliged to take back used automotive batteries.
On the other hand, the consumer is also obliged by law to bring back used automotive batteries.

The simplest way of transaction is to give back your old automotive battery when purchasing a new one.
If a purchase is effected without the return of the used automotive battery
a pawn of EUR 7,50 (incl. VAT)
is to be deposited which will be reimbursed upon the return of a used automotive battery.
Without the purchase of a new battery, used batteries can be returned free of charge at the point of sale.
Automotive batteries are marked with a warning label indicating that it contains lead ("Pb") and should therefore not be disposed of with the household garbage.

The MOLL company has always committed itself to complete taking back and recycling of its battery products. MOLL-batteries have been labelled with the corresponding markings, including the recycling symbol.

To ensure environmental protection, MOLL always produces according to the latest ecological standards. All resources are used with great environmental care. MOLL takes back old batteries and guarantees recycling.
