The problem:
With common batteries, gases leak freely through the vent-plugs of the batteries.
This uncontrolled gasing leads to corrosion in the vehicle and on the battery. Oxidated
battery terminal bushings increase the self-discharge and reduce operating safety. |

Our solution:
The integrated gas venting system inside the Kamina-lid
- world-wide installed in original equipment applications -

Via a channel, the venting of gases and acid-fumes is realised. A pipe leads the gases
outside. This enables the installation of the battery inside the passenger compartment.
The choice of side for the venting permits flexible installation. The closed lid is reducing
the water consumption. |
